EyeProctor: from opt-in to 1,000 sign-ups

I was on the marketing and sales team at EyeProctor, an AI proctoring platform for secure online assessments. I planned the email campaign, designed all six emails and the landing page, and built the automation in systeme.io. The team reached its 1,000 sign-up goal in 6 weeks.

  • Role: Marketing and sales team

  • Timeline: 6 weeks

  • Worked with: Head of the marketing team

  • Scope: Campaign plan, 6 emails, landing page, automation

Stats: 1,000 sign-up goal reached · 6 weeks to reach it · 58% open rate (213 of 365 subscribers) · 37% click rate (134 people)
The goal

EyeProctor helps educators, recruiters and training providers run secure online assessments. The team needed 1,000 people to sign up, and my job was to plan and build the email campaign that would get them there.
What I did

  1. Research and audit. I started with full research and an audit, so every decision in the campaign had a reason behind it.

  2. Campaign plan. I wrote the full email marketing plan brief: the goal, the audience and how we would reach it.

  3. Awareness workflow. I mapped how we would build awareness across all social media platforms and bring people into the landing page.

  4. Design. I designed all six emails and the landing page so they looked and felt like one campaign.

  5. Automation. I set up the opt-in automation and integrated every email in systeme.io, so each person received the right email at the right time.

  6. Approval. The head of the marketing team approved every design before it went live.
